Available Options

  • Signal Control Relay
    With Time America's signal relay the TA620 can automatically ring bells, open doors, unlock entry/exit turnstiles, etc.

  • External Card Reader
    External access control or data collection can be accomplished by connecting external card readers to any TA620 terminal. These card readers are available in magnetic stripe, bar code, or proximity badge formats.

  • Bar Code Wand
    With the bar code wand, employees can easily imput data from various sources.


  • Battery Backup
    With the addition of the external battery backup, all terminal functions remain 100% operational in the event power is removed.



The economical TA620 functions as an easy-to-use collection point for employee information. It can be linked to a variety of existing computer networks within your organization to compliment the management information system you may currently have in place. It can also be used in conjunction with Time America's time and attendance solutions.

Communication between the TA620 and your computer is accomplished by one of Time America's polling and programming utilites or integrated time and attendance software. The TA620 can be programmed to prompt employees for data imput, display empolyee messages, validate job costing entries, restrict employee punching via a schedule, regulate employee access to restricted areas, control a bell, allow a supervisor punch look-up / editing, and much more. The TA620 collects datat automatically and transfers this information to your computer via RS232 serial, RS485 LAN, or dial-up modem communciations.

The TA620 gaurantees accurate, reliable input. Employees simply enter information through the TA620's keypad, or by swiping a magnetic striped badge or a bar code.
